Behaviour Led? Knowing the half-second before a horse's ears come forward, not just when they do. Setting you both up for success by knowing how to guide you and your horse to a position before it happens. Positioning you and your horse so their movement doesn't ruin the shot or your safety, it becomes part of it. Knowing when a horse has had enough for the session or how to reset them mid way, always ending things positively. Giving your horse a fun and positive experience not just you.

I'm Emily Prouse, and that's Kingsley beside me.


Caletto is named after my first horse, who taught me that reading a horse will always matter more than posing one. From yard companions to Grand Prix contenders, my approach stays the same.



Since having my daughter, I am determined not to miss the moments in front of me.

"Retiring her has been so painful but when I look at her beautiful, kind face there is no question that whilst our ridden journey together is over, our partnership will last for her lifetime. You made a very hard, painful time bearable by photographing her at my home and this dream come true will be etched in my memories. "I was desperate to get some photos of my foal Cayla before she grew. I thought it would be a challenge with young foals being unpredictable but wow I needn’t have worried. The photos were way beyond anything I imagined and I have the most wonderful memories captured. Emily was brilliant she had so much patience and a real understanding of the horses. Emily made the whole experience so fun and we had the best time. The hardest part was choosing my favourite photos as there were so many wonderful captures"
